I'm Alberto Neri — an Italian aviation photographer based in Helsinki, Finland. But this story didn't start here. It started on Sunday mornings in Italy, when my parents would take me to Rome Fiumicino Airport just to watch the planes arrive and depart. Those afternoons at the fence, eyes wide open, are some of my earliest and most treasured memories.
Years passed, life moved forward — and eventually brought me to Finland, where I found myself living just minutes from Helsinki Airport. With a camera in hand and those childhood Sundays still alive in my heart, something reignited. Aviation photography became the way I reconnect with that feeling: the same wonder, the same joy, just now through a lens.
Today my work has been featured by Lufthansa, Norwegian, Embraer, Finnair, SkyTeam, DHL Express Finland, Helsinki Airport, and Aero Italia — reaching millions of aviation enthusiasts around the world.
